Where We Get the Best Value
Before we started looking at the different ways we could save, we wanted to know how SPAR2U compared to Uber Eats and where we could save the most on SPAR goods.
Supply Chain News Africa compared SPAR2U and Uber Eats using identical orders and found the SPAR2U basket was 18% cheaper than the Uber Eats order.
Uber Eats did, however, have the faster delivery time. The SPAR2U order arrived within its promised 10–11a.m. delivery slot, allowing us to plan around the delivery rather than waiting for it to arrive.
Ultimately, when it comes to saving on our orders, SPAR2U is our best option.
SPAR Rewards
SPAR Rewards is immediately available to new SPAR2U users once they register. It gives us access to promotional prices on eligible SPAR and TOPS products, making it an easy way to save on items we’re already planning to buy.
We all enjoy saving on our grocery run, and a few rands saved here and there can quickly add up. The Rewards programme also works across participating SPAR stores, so the benefits aren’t limited to our SPAR2U orders.
SPAR2U Competitions
Having a SPAR Rewards card for discounts is just the start of the benefits we can earn. Getting the chance to win something while shopping is an added bonus.
SPAR Rewards cardholders can automatically enter competitions from participating SPAR and TOPS stores when purchasing qualifying goods.
We might not write our shopping list around ongoing competitions, but if there’s a chance to win a little something extra, we’re happy to take it. Before placing our order, we always like to see what competitions are running on the SPAR2U competitions page.
App-Exclusive Savings
